Recruiting and career services professionals are constantly faced with changing and ever evolving ethical issues in college recruiting today. Solving those dilemmas is not easy – there are resources available to help. Discover the resources and how to apply them to some of today’s toughest recruiting and career services dilemmas. Mini case studies on current issues reported to the NACE Principles for Professional Conduct Committee will be examined. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss ethical issues that are problematic for their campuses/organizations.
Potential topics for discussion (to be updated based on current issues) may include charging employers to access students, reasonable offer deadlines, faculty referrals, conflict of interest, and online recruiting firms.
