This session will cover the innovative design and implementation of a career development module series using the institution's learning management system. An answer to the challenges presented by traditional programs in a virtual environment, modules were used to guide students through content paired with engagement tools. The pilot program "Intern Ready" focused on preparing for an internship search. Attendees will learn how this interactive program can be easily tailored to different topics and target demographics. |

Gamification is an emerging strategy in career development. Using the concept of play in real-time, this hands-on presentation will provide an introduction to the Lego® Serious Play® methodology and discuss its application with individuals and teams. Participants will review gamification as it relates to Career Development Theory, learn about new career exploration tools including the Lego® Serious Play® methodology and discuss application of play for individuals and teams. |
