These activities include, but are not limited to: MBTI certificate program, NACE Management Leadership Training, Midwest ACE Conferences or other relevant professional development activities.

Past Recipients:

2017

Stephanie Jeffers
Indiana State University

Stephanie currently works at the Career Center at Indiana State University. With the Professional Development Scholarship Stephanie plans to attend the 2018 National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Conference in New Orleans, LA. As a young professional, Stephanie's plan is to network with a diverse group of career development professionals. Secondly, Indiana State University is implementing career readiness into the curricula. Utilizing the NACE competencies as a part of the implementation, Stephanie will be looking for new ideas on programming for the Career Center, as well as, gaining fun, innovative ideas for the college to career course that she teaches. Last year, Stephanie received the opportunity to attend Indiana's state and regional career services conferences for the first time. Eager to be involved and develop as a professional, she decided to join conference committees. Stephanie has been delighted to serve on these committees and provide both insight and develop new ideas and relationships. Stephanie is constantly looking for new opportunities to push herself. Due to limited professional development funding within her office, when she saw Midwest ACE had the opportunity for a scholarship she thought it might be her chance to attend the national conference and continue to “lean in” to new opportunities.
