What was the most memorable event that you experienced in college? Traveling through Scandinavia and Russia with our concert band. How do you like to spend a rainy day? Curled up on the couch, under a blanket, reading or watching TV with my hubby. How do you like to spend a rainy day? Watching movies with too many snacks with the kids. Then letting them go outside to run around in their rain boots and coats that always end-up coming off. What part of your current job is your favorite? I love hiring candidates and seeing them succeed and achieve their professional goals. Many I recruited from campus and it’s fun to see them transition to the business and grow their confidence and professional brand. The students and university and employer colleagues that I have the privilege to work with and the opportunity to build new relationships - in short -the people! The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane (Lisa See): This book was a fascinating window into the rich culture of tea farmers living in remote mountain communities of China, and the clash of the modern world with their ancient traditions and rituals.
