Advance your coaching skills with Midwest ACE’s Career Coaching Certificate Program.

This engaging virtual series, facilitated by Amanda Cox and Brian Neighbors, will take place Friday mornings via Zoom from 9:00 – 11:00 AM CDT, running April 3 through May 29, 2026. Designed for career development professionals seeking to deepen and refine their coaching practice, the program offers structured learning, applied theory, and practical tools you can implement immediately.

Beginning with the fundamentals of coaching and micro-counseling skills, participants will progress through foundational and contemporary theories including Planned Happenstance, Social Cognitive Theory, and Career Construction. Throughout the program, you will:

  • Explore career counseling theories and coaching models within their historical context and through an equity-centered lens

  • Connect theory to practice, including integrating AI and other activities into one-on-one and group student settings

  • Develop a deeper understanding of how to appropriately and ethically implement theory with individual students

  • Practice career coaching tools and strategies alongside fellow participants in a collaborative learning environment

Registration is NOW OPEN through March 21, 2026.
