Below are the nominees for the 2026-2027 Midwest ACE Executive Board open positions to be filled on July 1, 2026. Click on the position title to learn more about specific duties required. President-Elect (1 year term): John Link, Bennington College John Link serves as Dean of Integrated Learning & Career Readiness at Bennington College, where he leads one of the nation’s most progressive experiential learning models, the Field Work Term. With over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in career development within higher education, he has focused his work on advancing career engagement and employer relations to create meaningful, mutually beneficial outcomes for students and partners. Prior to Bennington, John served as Director of the Career Planning & Development Center at Webster University in St. Louis. John has been an active and engaged leader within the profession. He previously served as President and Vice President for Professional Development for the Gateway Career Services Association and has contributed to national conversations through his involvement with the National Association of Colleges & Employers, including the Leadership of the Future Task Force. Within Midwest ACE, John’s leadership has evolved over time, beginning with his service as Co-Chair and later Chair of the Marketing & Communications Committee. He has since served on the Board of Directors as Director for Advancement & Communications since July 2021, helping to elevate the association’s visibility and strategic outreach. John remains committed to advancing the strategic priorities of Midwest ACE. His depth of board experience and collaborative leadership approach position him to support the association’s continued growth, sustainability, and long-term impact for both career services and employer members. President-Elect (1 year term): Casey Jenkerson, Washington University in St. Louis
Casey Jenkerson is the Director of Employer Engagement at WashU Center for Career Engagement. In this role, she provides strategic direction for the employer engagement team, fostering relationships with employers, campus partners, and alumni to expand internship and employment opportunities for WashU students. Since joining WashU in 2017, Casey has leveraged her background in both higher education and the corporate sector to build meaningful partnerships and innovative recruitment strategies. Prior to her work in higher education, she spent several years in human resources and recruitment, where she developed expertise in talent acquisition and organizational collaboration. Under her leadership, the employer engagement team cultivates new employer relationships, strengthens existing partnerships, and collaborates closely with talent acquisition leaders to design tailored recruitment approaches. Beyond her work at WashU, Casey also serves on the Board of Directors for the Midwest Association of Colleges and Employers (MWACE) as the Director of College Membership. Director - Finance (2 year term): Julie Quick, Cintas Corporation
As the Campus Talent Acquisition Manager for the Northern Territory at Cintas Corporation, Julie leads strategic university partnerships and drives talent initiatives across the Northeastern U.S. and Canada. In this role, she has successfully recruited top talent for the company’s Management Trainee and Internship programs, supporting over 60 locations with a focus on long-term growth and leadership development. Before stepping into her current position, she served as a HR Manager in the Rental Division in Southern California, where she was instrumental in developing employee engagement strategies, driving compliance, and supporting operational excellence. Julie holds her Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Grand Valley State University and holds her Master's Degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University. Julie resides in Southwest Michigan with her partner, Rob and their 4 dogs, Milo, Chance, Louie and Jaxon. Submit Your Vote |
