Join your colleagues on a Professional Exchange Site Visit, which will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
These site visits are free and only open to Midwest ACE college members on a first-come, first-serve basis. Advance registration is required and spaces are limited!
Lunch will not be provided during the site visits. Please plan accordingly.

Schedule of Visit:
The presentation will start at 1:15 reviewing what careers at the State of Ohio look like and an overview of how to read the qualifications for the positions. There will be a quick break and then the group will take a guided tour of the Ohio Statehouse.
Participants will learn about how the State of Ohio is structured and about some of the diverse career opportunities available. Several agencies will present on their specific career opportunities and be available to answer questions.
DNO is a local family-owned and operated produce distributor and fresh-cut processor, providing healthy, ready-to-eat, snack-pack items for USDA Foods in Schools, the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, and other USDA nutrition programs. DNO specializes in providing healthy choices to school programs among many other areas including retail, institutional, and food service. The company is growing in every direction and on the leading edge of our industry.

• Gain a firm understanding of a fresh-cut produce operation facilities and production processes • Showcase future employment and internship opportunities for college students and graduates in the food industry • Demonstrate the skills and education needed to operate a mid-sized regional business

• Bring warm clothes – both the production and storage facilities are refrigerated to maintain product freshness. • Visitors must wear closed-toe shoes. Visitors are advised that DNO will provide shoe covers, but shoes may get wet. Visitors should not wear jewelry, fake nails, nail polish, fake eyelashes, or similar items. DNO will provide a place to store personal items, including jewelry, should a visitor forget. Visitors must be willing to wear company-provided PPE including hair/beard nets, gloves, cloth smocks, and shoe covers.
The Columbus Crew is an American professional soccer club based in Columbus, Ohio. The Crew competes in Major League Soccer as a member of the league's Eastern Conference and began play in 1996 as one of the 10 charter clubs of the league. The 2022 campaign is the Columbus Crew’s 27th season in MLS as well as the Club’s inaugural season at Lower.com Field. The 2022 season will also see the launch of Crew 2, a member of MLS NEXT. This club will play at Historic Crew Stadium, MLS’s first soccer specific stadium.
The team has collected impressive hardware over the seasons, including a U.S Open Cup Trophy in 2002, and the MLS Cup in 2008 and most recently in 2020. In 2020, The Columbus Crew beat the Seattle Sounders 3-0 to win their second-ever MLS Cup, becoming one of seven teams to win multiple MLS championships. In 2021, the Crew secured the Campeones Cup title, as the reigning MLS champions squared off against Mexico’s Liga MX side Cruz Azul for a trophy.
Lower.com Field, the Crew’s new home that opened in July of 2021, is a state-of-the-art facility that seats more than 20,000 spectators, holds 30 suites, and 1900 club seats. Not only has this stadium attracted fans but it also has had a positive economic impact on the surrounding area, which will include the development of Astor Park, a live-work-play space with Lower.com Field as the catalyst and centerpiece. In addition to Crew matches, Lower.com Field has already hosted two USMNT qualifying matches and will host the USWNT in April, reinforcing Columbus as the hub of American soccer. Lower.com will also host concerts and other events, as will Historic Crew Stadium.
The Crew, Crew 2, Lower.com Field and Historic Crew Stadium are owned by Haslam Sports Group, which also owns the Cleveland Browns and First Energy Stadium, in addition to other investments.

Attendees will go on an informational guided tour of Lower.com Field. Columbus Crew President of Operations Kristin Bernert, Haslam Sports Group Vice President of Strategy Josh Glessing and Haslam Sports Group Chief Human Resources Officer Mike Nikolaus are slated to address those in attendance.
